Mid State Trail: Pennsylvania's Wildest Trail

One of the best kept secrets in Pennsylvania is that most trail work is performed by volunteers from the hiking community. If you would like to become one of these volunteers here is a list of segments of the Mid State Trail that are currently in need of maintainers. Available trail segments in State College Region

5. 6.45 to l0.34 Musser Trail to white blazed eastern boundary of Water Company land.
7. 30.76 to 35.75 East side of Penn Roosevelt to north junction with Indian Trail plus blue blazed Indian Trail north to Crowfield Road.
Section 11 PA 45 to PA 192
8. 9.69 to l3.73 Stover Gap Road to Oley Camp Trail.
9. l3.73 to l8.l4 Oley Camp Trail to PA l92 at R.B. Winter State Park.
Greenwood Spur 10. 4.54 to 8.10 Seeger Road to Alan Seeger Natural Area
Ironstone Loop 11. 0.00 to 2.93 Mid State Trail at top of Indian Steps to end of jeep road in PSU watersheds.
12. 2.93 to 7.32 End of jeep road in PSU watersheds to Masseyburg Road.
13. 7.32 to 9.54 Masseyburg Road to junction with Lake Trail.
14. 15.71 to 17.14 Pine Swamp Road to main Mid State Trail at Beaver Pond.
